-- The research determines the coronary and dental maxillary central incisor torque by means of lateral X-ray photographies of a sample of 215 patients from 7 to 12 years assistants to the Integral Clinic of the Child of The National Major University of San Marcos between the year 1998 and 2003. In them they were planned according to “ProjUSP“ (to group them as malocclusion I, II or III) and according to the Andrews torque (Andrews´s plane, coronal axis and longitudinal axis of the maxillary central incisor, for the class I was taken straight longitudinal axis and for Class II and III to the coronal axis). There on having processed the information with the statistical program SPSS v.15 we obtained summary measures (minimum, maximum and quartiles) of the torque according to sex, group etario and malocclusion, presenting them in distribution tables of frequencies with his respective statistical graphs. One found an abnormal distribution of the torque for Kolmogorov Smirnov´s test and to relate her to the age according to the malocclusion Spearman Correlation was applied obtaining graphs of dispersion of points. Almost no patient has normal value of the torque in these ages, even they are far below, only in the class III where the coronary torque is higher and not always to higher age a higher torque corresponds.
