-- The aim of this study was to evaluate the antibacterial activity of the Mixture of Drugs 3Mix, formed by Metronidazole, Ciprofloxacin and Minocycline against the main strict and facultative anaerobic microorganisms in deciduous teeth with necrotic pulps. Six ATCC® stocks of facultative and strict anaerobic bacterias (Porphyromona, Prevotellas, Peptostreptococcus, Lactobacillus, Actinomyces, and Streptococcus) were used to prove the susceptibility to the Mixture of Drugs 3Mix and its components by means Disk Difussion Kirby – Bauer’s method in anaerobic conditions. The reading of results was made at 24 and 48 hours respectively, being observated wide inhibition halos in all the bacteria tested. The biggest antibacterial activity was produced by the Metronidazol solution followed by the mixture of Drugs 3Mix, Minocycline and Ciprofloxacin which showed the lowest antibacterial effect. Prevotella melaninogénica was the most susceptible to the Mixture of Drugs 3Mix demonstrating high effectiveness on strict anaerobic microorganisms and the absence of pharmacologic antagonism between its components.
