--- The present research was oriented to demonstrate if the different learning systems, presential as well as non-presential (virtual, video-conference, and audio-conference), determine differences related to the performance of a group of customer service employees in the Telephone Company. According to this matter, a study of “descriptive comparison” with a statistics design of “average comparison” was established. The sample size was of 200 persons (20% of the total universe). The type of sample chosen was the simple random sampling. The learning strategies – presential learning as well as non-presential learning - were applied through units by the Human Resources Department. The performance evaluation system was also developed and applied by the Human Resources Department. Parametric Statistics were used to support the hypothesis, because the measurements (permutations) were scaled in established intervals (numerical permutations). That includes the use of analysis of the variance (ANOVA), since four groups were considered for the present study. A field study was performed and demonstrated that the four teaching systems offer highly different outcomes. The “presential” system was the most accurate of all, but also the most expensive. Follow by the virtual system, the video-conference system, and the audio-conference system. The last two were the less accurate and also the less expensive. Conclusions and recommendation have been proposed for this subject. Key words: training system, performance evaluation, effectiveness.
