-- The aim of the present study in vitro, was to evaluate the bond strength of indirect composite with different surface treatment and a self-adhesive luting cement, at enamel level, by means of the microtensile test. Eighteen bovine teeth were used and cylindrical blocks composite were constructed with nylon mol with the oblique incremental technique. They were divided into six groups according to the surface treatment on the resin block: Group I(acid orthophosphoric etching 37%) Group II(acid orthophosphoric etching 37%+ Silane), Group III (sandblasting with AL2O3), Group IV (sandblasting with AL2O3+ Silane) Group V(without surface treatment), Group VI RelyX ARC (sandblasting with AL2O3 + resin adhesive). After storing the teeth cemented by 24 hours in distilled water, the samples were sectioned perpendicular to the bonded interface to obtain thick slabs from each bonded samples. Thirty beams per group (n=30) were submitted to tensile test universal testing machine at cross-head speed of 0.5mm/min, until failure. The values in Mpa were analyzed to ANOVA and Tukey Test, to determine the significant differences between the experimental groups (p is less than0.05). Significant differences were observed in bond strength values between the group without surface treatment and sandblasting 40.04 MPa and 38.92 MPa, and those treated with acid etched 32.06 MPa. The treatment with acid orthophosphoric, diminishes the bond strength significantly. Under the conditions of the present study, the composite indirect presents greater bond strength without surface treatment.
