--- The study aimed; determine the psychosocial factors that influence the acceptance of vaccination against the Human Papilloma Virus in parents of schoolchildren in the IE Heroes of San Juan de Miraflores. The study is application level, quantitative approach,and descriptive cross-sectional method. The sample consisted of 77 parents for non-probabilistic criterion. The technique used was the survey instrument used as a questionnaire, which was applied prior informed consent. We obtained the following conclusions: The psychological factor is predictive for the acceptance of HPV vaccine in particular the perceived severity and perceived susceptibility as parents associated with cervical cancer, severe and fatal disease. There are barriers to vaccination are one of the main possible side effects, fear during application and incorporation of the vaccine to the schedule,however accept vaccination against Human Papilloma Virus.
