In the present research work it was developed with the general objective of demonstrating the relationship that exists between the Management of Social Networks and the Corporate Communication of a recognized telecommunications company. The sample population of this research was made up of 20 employees of the telephone company. The present investigation concluded that: Telefónica is a company that generates a high demand for web content (also called web traffic) in portals and social networks, which creates a necessary exposure regarding the activities they develop, contributing to their corporate communication objectives , although the presence in online media does not necessarily translate into an improvement in the company's reputation. The research work is divided into four sections: The first with the research problem, the second where the theoretical framework is described, the research methodology is presented in the third and the results in the fourth and final, completing the work the conclusions and recommendations, in addition to the annexes.
