--- The aim of this study was to determine the frequency of reproductive tract tumors in male dogs (TRPM), in the period from 2007 to 2010, for which information was taken from the archives of recorded cases diagnosed by histopathology in the Laboratory of Histology, Embryology and Pathology, Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos. The retrospective analysis determined the frequency of neoplasms 3.07% (95/3093) of TRPM, the most common age was from 1 to <5 years and > 9 years, being 34.9% (30/86) for both age groups; the mixed race showed 36.8% (35/95) and TVT was the most frequent with 41.1% (39/95). We conclude that the frequency of occurrence of neoplasms of the TRPM is low, less than 5% expected for the period from 2007 to 2010, age more prone to acquiring this disease is similar for male dogs (Canis familiaris) young and older adults to 9 years, the most common race that showed neoplasms in TRPM is mixed race and the most common neoplasms in TRPM is transmissible venereal tumor (TVT). The most common anatomical location of these neoplasms is the penis. Key words: Canis familiaris, frequency, histopathology, neoplasia of reproductive tract of male dog.
