The objective of the investigation was to establish if the MINSA´s Buccal health Programs of had social impacts between know ledges, perceptions and practices of pregnant women attended at the Dental Service of the Carmen de la Legua – Reynoso – Callao Health Center. It was a quantitative-qualitative traverse study, carried out with 44 pregnant mothers, the members of the Health Team (Dentist, Obstetrician and Social Worker) and the Health Promoters of “Carmen de la Legua” Health Centers of Reynoso (DISA I-Callao). Interviews, application of questionnaires and discussion groups were made as a methodology. 40% of pregnant mothers pointed out not to know what is buccal or oral health, 31% of them has fear of the dental attention, 86.3% perceives the dentist work only as a recuperative-assistance chore, and although discursively 59% states that it is important to go to dentist periodically, it does not constitute a true practice among them; this evidences the low impact of buccal health promotional preventive politicians in this population segment and main agent of health practice socialization. The excessive waiting time for the attention in the Dental Service is referred by 100% of pregnant and health promoters as a big and relevant limitation for access the Dental Service. It was found a low significant relationship between instruction degree and attention of pregnant in the Dental Service; but a high significant relationship between instruction degree and buccal health practices.
