This research work was carried out with the purpose of analyzing and evaluating the improvement of the processes in the production of ready-mixed concrete, using Process Engineering to increase plant capacity and productivity, taking advantage of the unsatisfied demand that currently exists. Information is needed on the waiting times for the production process in the last year, production tests, for the supply of cement when the supplier does not comply with the delivery times, it is also evident that downtime is the process it is necessary to double load the aggregate files that the balance to be of less capacity doubles the load time to 12 minutes, also the lack of compartment in the load plant to load the designs that uses the stone spindle # 89 generates time dead when requiring to destolvar the compartment that use spindle stone # 56. With the application of method engineering, it was possible to demonstrate that the production costs of the plant can be optimized, by implementing a silo for the storage of cement and increasing the capacity of the balance to weigh the aggregates, which helps to reduce costs the directors in the manufacture of ready-mix concrete, additionally the plant shutdowns in full production were minimized at the same time. It was possible to identify the main bottlenecks of the production process and design a diagnosis to improve procedures within the production area of the company. It was possible to raise the cost of the implementation of the improvement, with the acquisition of a silo and the balance, which will allow the reduction of costs and increase the production capacity of the production plant. The cost-benefit of the implementation of the improvement in the operations of the company was quantified.
