The objective of this study was to determine a linear programming model to optimize the allocation of teaching places in the San Antonio de Padua Private Educational Consortium. The methodology used was an applied research, due to its level of depth of knowledge. The reports of applicants registered with scores and reports of the maximum number of teachers to be hired as a primary source were applied to obtain information, then direct observation to be able to identify the documents that participate in the selection process and finally a data analysis was carried out to be able to carry out the mathematical model of assignment (teacher selection). After the study carried out, it was concluded that this research allows optimizing the allocation of teaching places in the San Antonio de Padua Private Educational Consortium, the solution proposal was based on a binary integer linear programming model that, under certain restrictions and based on the Curricular evaluation of the human resources area, provides an optimal assignment of teachers based on a selection of the teacher (s) with the highest cumulative score. The adequate allocation of teaching positions was identified through the linear programming model, it was possible to select the teachers with the highest score, assigning the vacant positions, there were 136 applicants for 63 vacancies.
