The objective of this research was to design an occupational health and safety management system according to the ISO 45001: 2018 standard to reduce costs due to non-compliance with the SGS in a dental clinic, Cajamarca 2022. The question was raised, How the design of a system of occupational health and safety management according to the ISO 45001 2018 standard reduces the costs due to non-compliance with the SGS in a dental clinic, Cajamarca 2022?, after analyzing the theoretical framework, it was proposed as a Hypothesis that the design of an occupational health and safety management system According to the ISO 45001: 2018 standard, it reduces the costs due to non-compliance with the SMS in a dental clinic, Cajamarca 2022 significantly and its implementation is viable. Using the documentary review and direct observation to verify the requirements of the ISO 45001 Standards, the results were that compliance with the ISO 45001 standards is 20.86%, that there is an imminent Administrative fine before an inspection of SUNAFIL makes 25,622 soles, which implements a health and safety management system at work requires a cost of 20,374.70 soles. Finally, it is concluded that the design of an occupational health and safety management system based on the ISO 45001: 2018 standard reduces the costs of non-compliance with the SGS, would increase compliance with operational requirements for occupational health and safety, and would generate a benefit, since it is less costly to implement than the imminent expense of non-compliance fines.
