The topic of this work consists of the implementation of a model to reduce non-conformities in the garment manufacturing process of a textile company. This through the methodologies of: Work Standardization, 5S and TPM. The objectives that have been set are to optimize the sewing method using Work Standardization, improve the order of materials and tools using 5S and reduce technical breakdowns in sewing machines through the implementation of TPM. The project is divided into four sections, the first chapter describes the background of the project. In the second chapter, a diagnosis is made of the problems that develop in the production process of making popsicles. In chapter three, the engineering proposal is developed, which is composed of the following phases, Phase 1 - Work Standardization, Phase 2 - 5S and Phase 3 - TPM. Finally, the fourth chapter presents the results obtained, reducing the percentage of defective garments to 4.52%, improving compliance with 5S to 71%, increasing the percentage of OEE: straight sewing machine 81%, machine overlocker 76% and coating machine 80%. With the results obtained, it is shown that through the implemented methodologies a significant reduction in the percentage of non-compliant products has been achieved. This has led to an increase in the level of efficiency of the machines, which allows reducing costs and meeting customer demands.
