The objective of this research is to analyze the high staff turnover in the private security company Segumax and propose solutions to improve the retention of surveillance agents. The motivation for this study arises from the need to address operational and human resources problems that affect the efficiency and competitiveness of the company. The research methodology is qualitative, which includes the technique of semi-structured interviews with the professionals involved and the application of current theories and models. The research results show that the main reason for high turnover is the lack of process and function definition. Alternative solutions were identified such as the implementation of training programs, the clear definition of operational functions, and the evaluation of performance with motivation incentives. In conclusion, the chosen alternative is based on the development of Lean methodology to implement defined procedures and improve role clarity to make processes more efficient by eliminating activities that do not add value. Furthermore, the chosen option would allow for a reduction in the turnover rate and directly contribute to the achievement of the organization's objectives.
