The marketing of agricultural machinery contributes significantly to the economy of the Peruvian state, as it relates sectors for its operation such as: the agricultural sector, which contributes 5% to the primary GDP; the rural sector, which represents a third of the Peruvian state, and the commercial sector, which contributes 7.48% to the non-primary GDP. The companies within this sector consider the process of taking inventories as a central process to carry out an efficient stock control that allows the company to have a correct order, distribution and supply of products. One of the problems faced by organisations in this sector is the low accuracy of inventory recording (ERI), which can represent monetary losses. Therefore, the objective of this Professional Proficiency Project is to use the tools provided by Big Data and the best practices of the Blockchain to increase the accuracy of the inventory register. The project model allowed us to generate an ordered and standardised database according to SKU codes and an optimal warehouse distribution by categories. This leads to faster inventory taking and product codes that are easy and quick to remember. In order to execute this model, engineering tools such as 5S, BPM, layout and Blockchain best practices were used to eliminate activities that do not generate value in the processes and implement an improvement plan for the agricultural machinery and spare parts trading company.
