The work of a sufficient professional has the objective of developing the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) model to increase the operational availability of the IT-DC-L1 Blowing Machine of a bottling company. The problem showed that the factors that determine low availability were errors in the identification of failures, the personnel did not have adequate knowledge, the maintenance processes were not standardized, and the proposed maintenance tasks were not effective. The base structure of the RCM model was developed in 4 phases: the first stage of resource management (cleaning, classification of tools, visual management and training), the second stage of FMEA analysis to determine the risk priority level of each aspect, the third stage of maintenance reliability (diagrams, preventive schedule, work procedures, files and RCM decision sheet) and the fourth stage of controls (supervision and audits). The analysis of results evidenced a change between the indicators of availability (86.7% to 95.5%), MTBF (61.7 to 144.2 hours) and MTTR (9.34 to 5.52 hours) and the economic analysis, profitability reduction and profitability through NPV of S/ 38,811.87 soles and an IRR of 51.57%. Finally, it is concluded that the Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) model was developed to increase the operational availability of the IT-DC-Blower L1 machine of a bottling company.
