This research examines how individual digitalization influences the possession of financial products, exploring the correlation between the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) and the internet, and the acquisition of financial products. Using logistic regression models and data from the National Household Survey (ENAHO) between 2018 and 2022, it was found that increased ICT usage and extensive internet use are positively associated with the likelihood of having financial products. Additionally, variables such as age, gender, and urban environment were significant determinants. Model selection was based on criteria such as Akaike Information Criterion (AIC) and Bayesian Information Criterion (BIC), highlighting the Logit model for its better fit in most cases. Limitations included variability in survey questions over the years and potential endogeneity, suggesting the use of instrumental variables to mitigate these biases in future research. In conclusion, this study underscores the importance of digital literacy and equitable access to technology in promoting financial inclusion, proposing policies that facilitate investment in digital infrastructure and training in digital skills to harness the benefits of digitalization in the financial and economic spheres.
