The main problem that arose in this research is the delay in the delivery of orders to customers in an SME dedicated to the textile sector, specifically garment manufacturing. The contribution sought with this study is to implement or propose a model that improves order delivery. The proposed model was based on the foundations offered by Lean, Standard work and 5s because these are supportive to reduce quality and standardization problems and in this way the development plan was developed that benefited the product development process. On the other hand, through tools that offered the Systematic Layout Planning methodology, the improvement of the plant distribution was proposed through tools such as route diagrams, relational table of activities and effort matrices that helped determine the deficiencies in the distribution of the jobs. The model combined industrial engineering techniques that helped standardize work in the company and maintain proper order; Likewise, the meters traveled between areas in the company were reduced. The planned or expected result for the problem was the decrease in the percentage in the delivery of orders that was 23% to 13% and that in this way it competes with the national market.
