The objective of this research work is to evaluate a concrete design mix f'c 280 kg/cm2 with polypropylene fiber addition in percentages to improve the shear stress. The methodology used was to evaluate the concrete in the properties of compressive strength, tensile strength, flexural strength and shear stress by adding polypropylene fiber in the amount of 2 kg/m3, 4 kg/m3 and 6 kg/m3 to finally apply a relationship between its properties and shear stress by means of an analytical relationship. A minimum of 3 samples per test were taken for each property in order to verify the results by means of a coefficient of variation of data. The results obtained were favorable for all the properties measured by adding polypropylene fiber. Finally, the analytical relationship was performed using the compressive strength, flexural strength, fiber tension, unit weight of the concrete and fiber addition per cubic meter to obtain the shear stress. The results were very similar to those obtained by experimentation verifying the acceptance of the analytical relationship.
