Currently, the pisco market has become more competitive, leading several companies to improve their production to maintain competitiveness in the sector, applying different tools aimed at increasing the overall efficiency of the equipment, improving product quality, and meeting customer expectations. The present research focuses on a pisco-producing company located in Tacna, Peru, where it was identified that, during 2023, the demand could not be met due to lack of stock. Additionally, based on the average annual participation rate, it was found that the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) falls within the “acceptable“ range, meaning it represents slightly low competitiveness and incurs a minor economic loss. Therefore, it is proposed to apply Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) and Lean Manufacturing methodologies to improve the pisco production line, increase overall equipment efficiency, eliminate waste, reduce excessive movements, and cut costs. Based on data collection and analysis of the company's current situation, a improvement proposal is developed using tools such as 5S, SLP, Autonomous Maintenance, and Quality Maintenance, resulting in a 75% increase in the OEE of the pisco production line and an improvement in product quality. Likewise, the positive impact of applying these tools in the company's work areas is confirmed by the obtained results.
