In Peru, companies that sell hydraulic spare parts have limited and centralized competition in the city of Lima, which affects the availability of spare parts in other departments of the country, which is the case of the company under study that accumulated losses of income represented by 42.53% of its income received in the year 2023, evidenced by the low level of perfect order fulfillment also known as Perfect Order Fulfillment (POF), of 7.06% compared to the POF of companies in the same sector which must be no lower than 46.7%, with a technical gap of 40%. To increase the POF, the application of demand planning accompanied by inventory and ABC analysis is proposed, which has contributed significantly to the increase in stock availability, ensuring better management of available resources, as well as reducing discrepancies of inventory, providing greater precision in controlling stock levels. Likewise, the introduction of standardized work together with 5S and Poka yoke has resulted in a notable reduction in operational errors in critical processes such as Picking, Packing and the seal installation process, improving the effectiveness and general quality of said processes. operations. The simulation in Arena has been fundamental to evaluate both the current scenarios (As-Is) and the future ones (To-Be), managing to raise the perfect order rate to 66.85% in an optimistic scenario. This approach has made it possible to shorten the process cycle time and mitigate management failures in the supply, warehouse and sales areas.
