The general objective of this professional sufficiency work is to determine the impact of internal inventory control on the liquidity of a company that sells medicines in the district of Chorrillos, 2024. The analysis of internal inventory control and its impact on liquidity was fundamental in the research. Liquidity indicators were analyzed, which are acid test, current liquidity and working capital, problems related to inventory control were identified in the study company, which affected its ability to pay. To address this issue, a research method was conducted that included in-depth interviews with two experts in the area, in order to understand their perception on the subject and its relationship with liquidity. In addition, two solution alternatives were proposed: hire a consultant to implement an internal inventory control system based on COSO 2013 or develop the COSO 2013 model internally with the company's personnel. These options were evaluated through a qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine which would provide the greatest benefit. Following this analysis, alternative 1 was selected, as it is considered that it will significantly improve internal inventory control and, therefore, the company's liquidity.
