G.W. Yichang & Co. is a company in mass food consumption sector in Peru, responsible for the import, brand representation, and distribution of both its own brand and represented brands. The main objective of this research is to analyze the strategic operations implemented by the company's fast-moving consumer goods division to optimize coverage of physical retail outlets within Lima's traditional channel, focusing directly on basic basket consumption. It was observed that there were difficulties in achieving coverage of the required retail points within the strategic plan established by the company. For the case study, we adopted a qualitative approach, allowing us to create theories and hypotheses based on semi-structured interviews, which enabled us to gather information and contrast it with various bibliographic sources to achieve a better understanding of the problematic situation. In this work, three alternatives were developed with different approaches aimed at solving the problem. Subsequently, each of them was analyzed, with the choice of the best evaluated alternative being based on countering the company's problem.
