This document presents an experimental model of Six Sigma where it is applied in a fabric batch dyeing production line of a textile company located in Peru. The Six Sigma methodology aims to perfect processes, with the aim of increasing profitability and performance. In addition, it helps minimize the variability of the treatment process since it has an extra cost of S/. 677,609.09 in the year 2022 due to the reprocessing of batches of fabrics. With this methodology it is shown that it is possible to increase the reduction or elimination of defects in fabric treatment production to reach 3.4 defects per million opportunities, also a reduction in process times. Six Sigma has the main tool DMAIC where it is developed under the 5 pillar phases: Define, Measure, Analyze, Improve and Control, and this presentation is adapted for the textile industry to improve the dyeing production process.
