The inventory service level, in logistics, is one of the most important indicators because it directly represents the probability of the occurrence of a shortage in the stocks of organizations including the Pork sector. Because a low level of this indicator in the pork sector mainly affects the inventory of balanced feed, reducing the meat weight of the animals. There are various factors that directly affect this indicator, for example, inefficient demand planning, which directly affects inventory planning, and the lack of a solid inventory review system affects the control and monitoring of stocks, generating Clutter and lack of an optimal purchasing lot (EOQ) prevent the organization from efficiently acquiring stock, among others. Due to this problem, this research proposes an inventory model that includes demand forecasting tools, a reorder point, a continuous inventory review system and an optimal purchase lot, in a company that has problems with the level of service in your inventory. In 2023, this company had a food inventory service level of 76.32%, which generated losses of S/ 643,139.55. The validation of the proposed model will be carried out through a simulation program, specifically using the Arena 14.0 program. After simulating the proposed inventory model in the case study company, an increase in the company's inventory service level was achieved up to 96.73%, achieving savings of S/ 466,937.59 regarding the mitigation of losses.
