The objective of this study is to determine if the wastewater produced by the Canta Treatment Plant can be used to make concrete suitable for the construction of sidewalks and sardinels than concrete made with potable water, considering the great importance of potable water in these times due to climatic phenomena, being able to save large amounts of water can be of great sustainability for the planet. The research that has been developed is of experimental type, carried out with samples of residual water taken at the Canta Treatment Plant after going through a physical and chemical process, to be able to determine that this residual water can be used for the manufacture of concrete which has a resistance equivalent to concrete made with potable water. It was determined through laboratory tests that the wastewater from the Ptar de Canta is optimal to be used in the mix design f'c175kg/cm2. In addition, by means of compression tests of specimens at 7, 14 and 28 days, it was proved that the samples made with this wastewater obtained favorable results equivalent to the common strengths provided by concrete made with potable water with a similar mix design.
