In Peru, 87.9% of companies are oriented to the commerce and service sector, which represent 16.5% of the country's GDP and have suffered a reduction of 11.1% of GDP. The project focuses on the SME commerce sector, which presents as a frequent problem the low order fulfillment rate that is calculated using the Fill-rate indicator that represents the number of products sent correctly. Based on the literature of the sector, it was evident that the optimal Fill-rate is 85% on average, however, the case study had a value of the indicator of 70.36%. The reasons indicate an imbalanced forecast, presence of Stock-out, high product location times and poor inventory control that affects the fulfillment of customer orders. To provide a solution to this problem, a solution model distributed in 2 components related to the planning and inventory management level was proposed using tools from the Supply Chain Management methodology. This project is proposed with the objective of improving the company's level of service and increasing its competitiveness in the sector. Finally, the results of the proposal indicate an increase of 830 orders and a value of 89.24% for the Fill-rate.
