The present investigation called “ RISK AND VULNERABILITY ANALYSIS FOR THE DRINKING WATER AND SEWER SYSTEM OF THE EPS SEDA AYACUCHO IN THE CITY OF HUAMANGA “, aims to identify the main areas of vulnerability to disasters, evaluate threats in the system of water and sewerage, also carry out a management plan that helps estimate, prevent and reduce the risks that affect the water and sanitation system in the city of Ayacucho. This research arises due to the deficiencies in the service of the water and sanitation system in the same city, therefore obtaining as the main research problem: ¿To what extent will this proposal help reduce the risks of Disasters that may occur later in the Sanitation systems of the City of Huamanga? With this research, the quality of life of people in the main 4 districts will be raised, which are: Ayacucho, Carmen Alto, Jesús de Nazareno and San Juan Bautista. The level of this research is exploratory with analysis based on the CENEPRED guide, also obtaining data from SEDA-AYACUCHO to identify the main problems encountered in the city of Ayacucho. Maps were prepared with the ARCGIS program to visually identify the main streets or avenues that present a very high, high, medium and low danger. Finally, a management plan was drawn up, diagnosing the main streets of the city and presenting a long-term improvement proposal.
