In this research work, the following question arises: How does the use of the prefabricated system influence the cost, time and waste of the multifamily building project in San Miguel? And whose general purpose was to analyze the comparison of the prefabricated construction system of slabs with respect to the conventional lightweight ones in the technical economic part and execution times of the multifamily building located in the district of San Miguel. The type of study that was applied was at a descriptive and explanatory level in which the population and sample were made up of multifamily buildings. The research methodology describes the construction processes of both systems (construction system of prefabricated slabs and conventional lightweight slabs) in order to reduce the solid waste that is generated in both construction systems in the environment, making a comparison of both times of execution, labor and resources that are used in construction. It is concluded by carrying out a comparative analysis of both systems and verifying which system would be recommended to be used in multifamily housing construction sites to reduce waste.
