The document develops the structural design of two modules for an educational institution located in the Department of Lima. The design follows the current Peruvian regulations for building design, considering the building's classification as essential. The objectives include designing the main structural elements through the pre-dimensioning of elements, seismic analysis, building modeling in SAP 2000 and ETABS, element design, and the creation of project plans. For the development, seismic analysis and structural models of each module are carried out using ETABS software to ensure that the design meets construction standards according to seismic parameters. Subsequently, with the help of SAP2000 and ETABS software, the structural design of each proposed element (slabs, beams, and columns) is performed according to the considerations of standards E.030 and E.060. The building's compliance with the seismic and load requirements of the current structural design regulations is verified, considering its classification as an Essential Structure. Finally, this structural design proposal also serves as a design guide for future school infrastructure projects in highly seismic areas, thereby contributing to the development of projects using Peruvian structural design standards for significant buildings.
