The plastics sector, especially in the field of polypropylene injection molding machines, faces significant challenges in improving operational efficiency and productivity. This thesis focuses on proposing a solution using Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) as the methodological framework. This methodology seeks continuous improvement through the active participation of all members of the organization. It focuses on preventing equipment losses, eliminating failures, and optimizing processes. In this research, a comprehensive analysis of polypropylene injection molding machines will be conducted to identify areas for improvement. Then, a TPM plan tailored to the specific needs of these machines will be designed and implemented. This plan will include preventive maintenance activities, staff training, process improvement, and continuous performance monitoring. It is expected that this improvement proposal will not only increase the efficiency and productivity of polypropylene injection molding machines but also contribute to cost reduction and increased competitiveness in the plastics sector.
