The objective of this research is to elaborate an improvement proposal to reduce the delivery time of the tank line projects in a metal-mechanic, through the engineering tool: SLP, 5s, process standardization and Fuzzy. Where the non-experimental, descriptive, and mixed, qualitative-quantitative research methodology was applied. It was carried out with the development of the Lean Manufacturing Methodology, to support the approach, the SLP, 5S, Process Standardization and Fuzzy engineering tools were used, considering the KPIs of each one, to respond to delays in production. production. The proposal was validated using a simulation through the Arena software, which supports the search to reduce the bottleneck and improve order delivery time. The results obtained indicated that there is an effect in reducing time, by an average of 50%, being 15% the reduction of rolling time and approximately 19% to 9% of the search time for materials and tools in the fabrication process. Therefore, a VAN of 7,929 soles and an IRR of 25.90% are perceived. Concluding that the project is feasible, being financially viable and operational.
