Currently, the level of service for the sale of spare parts is not optimal to meet market requirements. On the one hand, the delivery of incomplete orders has a strong impact on the quality of service. On the other hand, the delay in delivery times leads to paying for faster alternatives for a high price. Therefore, an improvement model is proposed to increase the level of service in spare parts trading companies through S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning), which works as a plan that involves all areas of the company and focuses on the customer value. The Kraljic Matrix strategic tool is also proposed to analyze suppliers and have efficient purchasing management against a demand plan that is proposed by planning management using forecasting methods to reduce error and ABC multicriteria to measure different criteria. applied to inventories. The execution is carried out in a company in the elevator sector in which it is expected to reduce the rate of orders delivered out of time by 20%. In the same way, it is expected to reduce demand forecast errors to 3.7%, since they are related to the main problem. The implementation of the model will allow the company to improve the level of service from 86.07% to 98%. This proposal means to deliver the agreed service correctly and in a timely manner.
