The objective of this research is to analyze the functionality of the interface of fintech mobile transfer applications in response to the needs of the elderly in Metropolitan Lima. Under the hypothesis that older adults feel the obligation to adapt to the use of mobile transfer applications based on a need and not for their own interest. For this, the contents of the interface of the applications Yape, Plin and Tunki were analyzed, at the level of iconography, typography, architecture, graphic style and interaction elements. Similarly, an analysis sheet was prepared based on the Technological Acceptance Model (TAM) proposed by Davis et al. (1989). In addition, semi-structured interviews were conducted aimed at senior merchants who use mobile transfer applications and structured interviews with professionals in the UX/UI design area. As a result, it was observed that senior merchants were forced to use mobile transfer applications due to the needs of their customers. Likewise, Yape is the application with the greatest acceptance within this group of people, since they consider it easy to use. In conclusion, the proposed hypothesis was confirmed, however, older adults discovered that these apps meet their needs by facilitating their activities during the day. Regarding technological acceptance, the ease of use and perceived utility were highlighted, since they allow them to expedite payments, increase their sales, save money, avoid crowds and optimize their time.
