This research explores Temporary Shelters, places of reception and temporary residence for victims of family violence, which provide protection, shelter, food and multidisciplinary care, promoting their comprehensive recovery. The existing number of them throughout the country is not proportional to the high-risk levels of violence that women experience and they have management and infrastructure problems. Cusco is the province with the most cases of violence against women after metropolitan Lima. The operation of Temporary Shelters is analyzed, as well as the principles of the Andean worldview, to solve the lack of quality in design and infrastructure as well as shortages. In this way we identify the needs of the victims and how the Inca worldview contributes well-being, we determine elements of the Andean worldview and transfer them to the design of the home, we establish the predominant materials in architecture based on the Andean worldview that meets the requirements for a home in Cusco and evaluate the spaces of a temporary refuge and how the concept of the Andean worldview would be applied.
