The main objective of this study entitled “Digital skills and their relationship with the performance of employees in the banks of Metropolitan Lima 2023” is to validate whether there is a positive relationship between the variables digital competence and job performance. Likewise, with respect to the specific objectives, we seek to verify whether the eight dimensions of digital competencies have any relationship with job performance. To carry out this research, a non-experimental design of the transectional type was established given that the year of analysis is 2023. Likewise has a correlational scope since it seeks to validate if there is any relationship between the two variables of study. It is worth mentioning that for this study a simple probabilistic sampling was carried out at a 95% confidence level and that resulted in a total of 380 people from the four most representative banks: BCP, BBVA Continental, Interbank and Scotiabank. The instrument selected is the survey, designed based on a Likert scale. Finally, upon completing the statistical analyzes we can reach the conclusion that the variables digital skills and job performance of the employees of the banks of metropolitan Lima do have a positive relationship. This means that the more digital skills a worker has, the higher their job performance will be in their organization. Likewise, it was validated that the eight dimensions of digital competencies also have a positive correlation with the job performance variable.
