The present research addresses the issue of knowledge management in industrial companies in Peru, proposing an innovative solution through the implementation of a corporate university model. This model emphasizes the importance of governance, highlighting the need for active involvement of top authorities and management within the company. This approach aims to transform knowledge management into a strategic action with broad scope rather than an isolated initiative. The proposed model is structured in levels, leveraging available technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) platforms to comprehensively address learning needs across the organization. Prior to introducing the model, the thesis conducts an in-depth analysis of the Peruvian industry context, emphasizing deficiencies in how companies manage their knowledge and know how. The research reveals that many companies face limitations, whether due to a lack of understanding of the subject, budgetary constraints, or reactive and non-strategic management. In this context, the implementation of the proposed corporate university model emerges as a comprehensive and effective response to close existing gaps in knowledge management, providing companies with the necessary tools to enhance their learning and improve competitiveness in the dynamic business environment.
