Imports of pharmaceutical products in Peru have experienced an annual growth of 6% in the last 5 years, due to its low production, since, by 2021, this industry represented 0.13% of national production. International transportation plays an important role in the movement of these products, as it must ensure their quality until delivery, meeting the estimated times and costs in the logistics chain. Therefore, this research aims to determine the relationship between the components of international transportation and the logistics chain of imports of pharmaceutical products from PSA 30.04 during the years 2018 to 2022 to Peru, in order to provide knowledge to pharmaceutical companies. about the way in which transportation impacts their logistics chain so they can take action against problems that may arise. The study is developed under a quantitative approach of correlational scope, through a questionnaire using the Likert scale. This was validated by 4 experts in the logistics, academic and methodological fields, demonstrating its reliability when applying Cronbach's Alpha, the result of which was 0.803. Likewise, data was collected from 36 surveys conducted with professionals from the pharmaceutical companies included in this study. Finally, through statistical analysis in the SPPS tool, the relationship between the components of international transportation and the logistics chain of imports of the studied PSA was verified; as well as the dimensions of safety and environmental conditions.
