The Covid-19 pandemic had a great impact on the entire world, the workplace is no exception since work systems that had been established for many years had to be changed to adapt to a new type of work. Likewise, many companies leave aside their internal client, all of this influenced the workers, since being locked up generated high levels of stress, low performance and demotivation; Therefore, companies to this day are still struggling to find new ways to keep their staff constantly motivated. The purpose of this research is to determine the existence of a direct relationship between internal marketing and motivation in employees of banking companies in Metropolitan Lima. A non-experimental correlational study was carried out in which the variables of internal marketing and motivation were defined with the support of the literature. To collect information, surveys were applied to 220 workers from the most representative banks of the financial sector in Peru. The results indicated that there is a direct relationship between internal marketing and employee motivation, obtaining 0.511 as correlation coefficient, concluding that according to previous research it is reaffirmed that internal marketing does influence the motivation of employees of banking companies in Metropolitan Lima; therefore, banking companies should be aware of the importance of the use of internal marketing to maintain a highly motivated staff.
