The objective of this study was to analyze the relationship between extrinsic motivations and the attitude - purchase intention process of M-commerce in Metropolitan Lima (2023). To carry out the research, the relational level was used, which seeks to determine the relationship that exists between the variables, in the same way it has the non-experimental and cross-sectional design, in which no situation is constructed but it is necessary to observe the existing situations on a defined sample population to subsequently analyze them. To obtain data from the sample population, a virtual survey called a research instrument was carried out, which was made up of 18 questions associated with the relationship between extrinsic motivations in the attitude – purchase intention process. As a result, a high validity of 81.5 % was obtained, this means that the degree of measurement of the instrument is accurate and reliable, and a reliability of 0.902 is interpreted as indicating that the application of the instrument has produced consistent and coherent results. The main result of the analysis was that convenience of time, safety in purchases, order delivery service, after-sales service and attitude are of greater acceptance, preference and relevance for male people between 26 and 35 years when making online purchases using mobile devices. However, the female gender has a significant participation that also allows us to consider the relevant segment for the research. The study concludes that the relationship between extrinsic motivations shows a considerable positive correlation with the attitude-purchase intention process of M-commerce, thus providing information that contributes to the literature on the motivations of habitual buyers behind the purchase intention through mobile devices.
