The research focuses on the analysis of Good Corporate Governance (BGC) in the Peruvian mining sector, with the general objective of determining the relationship between good corporate governance and ownership concentration in the Peruvian mining sector, 2010-2022. The central problem addresses the relationship between the BGC and the Concentration of Ownership (CoP), seeking to better understand it to provide valuable information to business development in the country. The research question investigates the relationship between the BGC and the CoP in the Peruvian mining sector from 2010 to 2022, with the general objective of determining said relationship. The methodology adopted is documentary, analyzing reports and policies on the Lima Stock Exchange and reliable sources such as the OECD, with a sample of 338 reports from 13 mining companies over 13 years. Findings reveal negative correlation between BGC and CoP, although not statistically significant. It is concluded that, although companies adopt BGC, the CoP-transparency relationship could affect sustainability and minority shareholder rights, without being statistically significant. The reliability of the information and the consistency in the implementation of BGC are confirmed. Recommendations include strengthening BGC practices to improve transparency and equity, considering ownership diversification, and conducting additional studies. The study provides empirical evidence on the CoP-BGC relationship in the Peruvian mining sector, influencing policies for better corporate governance, contributing to sustainability and equity, highlighting the importance of the reliability of information provided by regulatory companies to the public.
