Currently, markets make up a fundamental part of Peru's economic system. Similarly, tourism is one of the fundamental bases of commerce, as is gastronomy. Currently, in Peru, there are the wholesale and retail markets, in which are the specific functions of buying and selling food and other products of various kinds. Likewise, there are gastronomic events such as Mistura, in which different dishes and typical drinks of the country are marketed, as well as selected products from different regions of Peru. This event establishes an opportunity to raise awareness of Peruvian culinary art, as well as offering an environment for cultural and social exchange. What is explained in this writing is the approach of developing a permeable space with the environment in the Rímac district, in which these 2 activities can converge, so that it is not limited only to the sale of first-class products need, but also to the preparation and tasting of dishes that specifically that the market concept does not stagnate in a place of purchase and sale, if it does not expand to a place of exchange and permanence.
