The present research was conducted with the aim of reducing complaints related to the presence of pests in a logistics operator's warehouse. Thanks to the valuable contribution of key workers in the process, crucial information was gathered during semistructured interviews conducted from August 2022. These interviews identified the main causes of complaints from one of the logistics operator's most significant clients. The process involved applying the seven-step methodology to organize and clarify the information obtained from the interviews. With economic information revealing significant losses for the logistics operator, action plans were developed to mitigate this impact. This plan was implemented over six months, from September 2022 to February 2023. Subsequently, a decrease was observed in both the number of complaints and the economic impact in the following months. This research demonstrates that the execution of this action plan has successfully achieved the objectives outlined in the investigation. It is hoped that this study will serve as a guide for other warehouses, enabling them to replicate beneficial strategies to improve their processes.
