A business proposal consisting of a mobile application aimed at helping dog owners find the right playmates or walk mates for their pets has been investigated. In addition, it will allow suppliers of pet products and services to offer campaigns and products to dog owners within the application. As an added value, dog owners will be offered an online community to share experiences and friendship with common interests, contributing to the well-being of their pets. This digital platform will be called CanDate. The project analyzed households that have dogs and providers of pet products and services located in district zones 6, 7 and 8 of Metropolitan Lima, who were interviewed and surveyed in detail. The findings revealed favorable aspects for the implementation of CanDate, highlighting the absence of a similar application in Peru and the willingness of 80% of those surveyed (out of a total of 549) to use the application. The feasibility of the project was evaluated from aspects, such as the strategic, commercial, operational, human resources and financial framework. The results of the financial evaluation over a period of 3 years demonstrate solidity as a proposed business, with a Net Present Value (NPV) of S/ 824,871, an Internal Rate of Return (IRR) of 41% and an investment recovery period of 2.21 years. These indicators support the viability and potential success of the project.
