The main objective of this research is to design a commercial management process aimed at rice farmers in Camaná, Arequipa, with the goal of increasing their productivity. This approach is based on the Business Process Management (BPM) model. The study begins with an overview of the research and the development of a theoretical framework that serves as the foundation for the design of the model. Next, a description of the agricultural sector is provided, followed by a general and specific diagnosis of the research group, based on interviews with farmers. This data is used to formulate both the general and specific hypotheses, as well as to establish the research objectives. In the third point, a proposal for a basic commercial management system based on process management is presented for the Micro and Small Agricultural Enterprises (Mypes) in the rice sector in the Camaná, Arequipa region. This proposal includes key elements such as the process map of the entire system and a diagram illustrating the interrelationships between these processes. Finally, a more accurate implementation of the proposal is ensured, based on best practices from other countries with high productivity in the agricultural sector and the use of process management tools. It is verified that the designed commercial process fulfills the hypotheses. The expected result is an improvement in the productivity of rice farmers in the region, contributing to their sustainable development.
