The objective of this research is to determine the financial variables that have a relationship with the value of investment shares in the mining, industrial and miscellaneous sectors in order to estimate its real market value. This starts with the inclusion of three proposed factors: the common stock, the stock liquidity index, and the control value, which can help determine the value of the investment stock. For the development of the research, in the first place, the search of academic sources in bibliographic databases (Scopus and Web of Science) related to the subject of study is carried out. Secondly, a quantitative analysis was carried out and historical information was compiled on the quotations of common and investment shares of the different sectors, using the Bolsa de Valores de Lima (BVL) portal. It is determined that the best way to test the hypotheses is through a multiple linear regression analysis to obtain a model that explains the dependent variable. In addition, the research is complemented by two interviews with experts in the investment field in order to validate the variables and the proposed model. Finally, the general and specific hypotheses proposed for the linear regression were tested in order to demonstrate the influence of the variables identified on the market value of investment shares in companies listed on the Bolsa de Valores de Lima from 2012 to 2020. The general result was that the control value and liquidity index variables are not relevant when explaining the value of the investment stock and that the value of the common stock is the only one that shows a relationship with the dependent variable.
