The Role of Leadership in the Motivation of the collaborators of an environmental and occupational health management company during the period of sanitary crisis COVID - 19, Lima 2021. The present research entitled “The Role of Leadership in the Motivation of the collaborators of an environmental and occupational health management company during the period of sanitary crisis COVID - 19, Lima 2021“, set as its main objective to determine the role of leadership in the motivation of the collaborators of an environmental and occupational health management company during the period of sanitary crisis COVID - 19, Lima - 2021; It was developed under a correlational methodological framework with a non-experimental cross-sectional design, keeping a mixed approach, with a quantitative and qualitative analysis. Consider as a sample unit of study 34 collaborators of an environmental management and occupational health company, under a non-probabilistic sampling - by convenience; making use of the instruments called Leadership Styles questionnaire and the Work Motivation questionnaire. The main results showed the prevalence of a transactional leadership style with 62%, followed by a transformational leadership style with 26% and to a lesser extent a behavioral leadership style with 12%, given that the collaborators consider that the leaders have been able to cope with the context raised thanks to the support provided by top management; also, among the most important motives they considered autonomy (4.2), power (4.3), achievement (4.7), exploration (4.6) and contribution (4.8). Therefore, it could be concluded that in the environmental and occupational health management company a transactional leadership style predominated and the main motivational factors that drove the collaborators were autonomy, power, achievement, exploration and contribution, due to the fact that the company, through top management, provided support and backing during the crisis period.
