Introduction: The presence of anxiety symptoms in students may be related to the poor study habits of each student. Objectives: Identify and determine students' study habits and the association with anxiety symptoms. Objectives: Identify and determine students' study habits and the association with anxiety symptoms. Materials and Methods: An analytical cross-sectional observational study was carried out. 546 students from the Faculty of Health Sciences of a private university participated in the study during the COVID 19 pandemic. The Google Forms platform was used for a virtual survey of 75 questions: 55 were from the CASM 85 Study Habits Inventory and 20 questions from a Zung Scale test for anxiety, where data on study habits and anxiety symptoms were collected. Results: An association was observed between anxiety and age, so the analysis of the association between anxiety and study habits adjusted to age was done, and the association was found, but explained by age where the p value was 0.05 and only showed association with the study habits variable (p 0.018). The median age was 23 (IQR: 18.25). Discussion: In previous studies and research the results are divided, in some a slight association was found and in others none was found between our variables. Conclusion: It is concluded that no association was found between bad study habits and the presence of anxiety symptoms in the students of the Human Medicine degree at the UPC.
