This project addresses the inherent challenges in claims management within the Peruvian funeral sector, focusing on customer dissatisfaction stemming from inadequate effective communication and a lack of transparency in the process. In a context of increasing demand in the country, key issues are identified, such as customers' lack of awareness regarding the status of their claims and the absence of formal communication. The proposed solution is grounded in the strategic application of Design Thinking and agile methodologies, supported by the implementation of additional communication channels in an omnichannel strategy. The application of methodologies like the 5s aims to enhance data quality. The implementation, efficient from a financial perspective, has demonstrated tangible benefits, anticipating a significant reduction in losses. Results showcase substantial improvements in customer satisfaction indices, a decrease in ignorance regarding the claims process and status, as well as the elimination of customers without a response letter. These aspects are pivotal in an industry where sales are generated through recommendations and brand prestige. Conclusions underscore the success of the implemented strategy, emphasizing the importance of investing in internal development and staff training. Continuous improvement in customer satisfaction and a strengthened market position are projected. Additionally, key recommendations are suggested, such as transitioning from SMS to WhatsApp for messaging and automating internal processes to maximize operational efficiency. Collectively, these actions reflect a comprehensive approach to overcome deficiencies in claims management, significantly enhancing the customer experience and operational effectiveness of the organization.
