The general objective of this research was to contrast the positions of various authors on how digital disruption impacts the digital transformation of organizations. The methodology used is qualitative, in which different approaches are identified. To do this, various journals whose articles are rated Q1 or Q2 by Journal Citation Reports and Scimago were consulted. Then, the most relevant sources were selected that will help analyze the definitions, characteristics and business models addressed in the topics developed. In this way, it is concluded that there is a direct relationship between digital disruptors and the digital transformation of organizations, which could be positive or negative depending on the organization. For this reason, digital transformation has generated multisectoral changes in organizations, allowing them to adapt and innovate within the technological environment. On the other hand, new technologies and servitization are responsible for changing business models in organizations so that they are more efficient. For its part, it is through organizational competencies where management capabilities are key to generating value for the organization. Finally, digital disruption can positively or negatively influence organizations, depending on how they are prepared. In this sense, there is a discrepancy regarding how to interpret digital disruption. Some authors see it as a process that can benefit companies, while others see it as a radical change in the systematic environment. Consequently, it is suggested that topics that affect TD or more fields where it affects and can generate value be studied.
