The tourism industry provides great economic benefits to a country, however it can also have adverse effects such as environmental pollution. Faced with this context, tourists choose to look for eco-friendly options, but distrust regarding ecological practices as well as a lack of information that the hotel can show makes it difficult for them to reserve. Therefore, the objective of this research is to examine the effects of friendliness towards the environment and the influence of the reference group on the reservation intention in green hotels through trust and electronic word of mouth in the sector of green hotels. To achieve this objective, the quantitative approach will be carried out and the necessary information will be collected through an online questionnaire to 400 people over 18 years of age with environmental awareness and who will have knowledge about green hotels, at the same time the SEM statistical technique will be used. (Structural Equation Model) and SmartPLS. This study provides valuable information as the proposed constructs have had a limited focus on the green hospitality sector and emerging markets.
